Joey's specialty is expert scissoring with long-hair, layers, texturizing
as well as some seriously sharp straight-edge work.
Joey is the owner and master stylist of Barber Room 306. He's been cutting hair since he was a kid, practicing on family members and friends every day after school. When he was sixteen years old, he got a job at his Uncle Mike's barber shop in Brooklyn and never looked back. By the age of nineteen, he was perfecting the art of his scissor cuts from an italian barber.
Joey worked his way up in the field and in April, 2014, he opened up the shop doors to Barber Room 306. He chose Williamsburg as his location because he felt the neighborhood matched his idea for his shop. Vintage styles with sleek modern twists are commonplace here, and is his favorite type of cut.
